Camp 2016

Have you ever been to Camp Bentzon before?

I went there last week. When we arrived, our first thing we did was go for a hike up killer mountain. I thought it was easy, but when we went up the hill it was hard in my head I was like “ No wonder why it’s called killer mountain it kills people's legs” It was so so hard.

Wait a minute I forgot to tell you about these two amazing people well these two amazing people have names and they are Erin and Peter, They were telling us about how to Kayak and how to sail they were so awesome. I miss them so much.

After we finished walking up Killer Mountain we had Morning tea which was an apple and a cookie. After that we had free time and we got to play volleyball and play on the playground. After that we had lunch, we still had free time until we went to dinner.

For dinner we had Spaghetti Bolognese with potatoes. Mr Somerville asked if anyone wanted seconds and I went up it was so yum. I could even smell the Spaghetti Bolognese from where I was sitting, I think it was because I was the closest one to the kitchen. When everyone had finished we got to have some desert, for desert we had ice - cream and chocolate sauce it was so delisous.

The next day we were starting our activities my favourite activity was sailing. When I was Sailing It was very hard because we thought we were going to fall of and the sail was to hard to pull but luckily I had my friend besideme. However, when I got use to it, I was very happy that I knew how to sail. My buddy and I were very scared. but then as we were sailing we weren’t afraid anymore. As we were sailing, we got to see a stingray.

It was very fun at camp I wish we could go there again. That was the best camp ever and I just wish we could stay there.

My Camp Experience

WALT: Retell our experience of camp This is my camp experience I had so much fun, The funniest thing that ever happened to me was when I fell out of my kayak it was the funniest thing at camp.

Narrative Writing 2016

One morning Frank and his brothers wanted to go camping. They were looking for a place to camp. Frank found a place in New Zealand and the name of the place is called Kawau Island, So they went to the airport so they could go camping.

“ Yay we are here let’s go set up our tents!” said Frank

So they went off and organised their things. But something strange happened oh no they have forgotten their food and they were so hungry Frank was so worried “Oh no what are we gonna do?” said Frank

So they were so hungry that their mother came with their food “ Hurray” said one of the brothers so then the mother said “ Come and get your food son” So then they were so happy they survived.

My camp recount

Last week on an ugly sweety hot wednesday to friday all the year 5 and 6 had camp. I was in the real dealz with Mr Goodwin. Camp was really cool!! And in the morning we do some jump jam. We did Jump jam because we so EXHAUSTED!! On camp we had leaders my leaders were Iyvone,

At camp the Real dealz and I started to play a activity I was there half  we are playing top town. Hey but guess what the teachers call it top town but Mr Jacobson calls it the “Kill Zone”. It was pretty cool how we went through the “tunnel of doom”!

The next cool amazing thing was, that we went down to the beach to do some kayaking! Have you done kayaking before? I was really excited. When we got in we had to do foot bum foot. Then we went into the boat and did foot bum foot the next thing is that you have to do spoon knife spoon knife.

It was cool at camp and quite funny! The next thing is we went to sleep “ZzzzzzzzZ”!
