Nau mai, Haere mai Ki KPE, You’re listening to Korero Pt England, coming to you from Auckland New Zealand. My name is Kerstein and I’m a Year 8 Student at Pt England School. Joining me today is Samoa and she’s here to tell us about a book she has been reading.
Kia Ora Samoa
Kia Ora Kerstein
So what have you been reading lately Samoa?
I've been reading a book called the Secret Game plan written by Maria Samuela
Tell us who the characters are?
There is a girl named Mata, she likes to play rugby, and her one wish is to win one game against a boy called Sami and his friends.
Why does she want to win against them?
That’s Because the boys in Mata’s class, kept calling the girls useless, and so the girls wanted to prove them wrong.
Tell us more about the Book?
Well while Mata was in class she wrote a secret game plan at the back of her writing book. She leaped over to whisper to Nga, saying Training at lunchtime.
What do you think the message the author is trying to tell us?
