Maths things

Noah has 27 rugby cards and Bobby has 9. How many do they have altogether? 36
(Show your working out here - I want to see how you can use the strategy we have been learning as a group!)
27+9=36
27-1=26
9+1=10
10+26=36
27+9=36

Nyree has saved $36 in pocket money. Teija has saved $12. How much money do they have between them?
(Show your working out here!)
Use Educreations on the iPad to share how you worked this question out. Post your movie on your blog.

$36+$12=$48
$12-$2=$10
$36+2=$38
$38+$10=$48
$36+$12=$48

For the following questions, show your working out underneath. I have done the first one for you.

47 + 9 =
47-1 + 9+1 = 46 + 10 = 56.

44 + 8 = 53
44 - 1 =43 + 9 + 1 = 10 + 43 = 53

17 + 12 =29

37 + 9 =46

55 + 8 =63

My Basic Facts - “Doubles”

8+2=10
5+5=10
3+7=10

Greater than or less than:
