Creating a word problem

Today the Decagons were creating word problem about roses. The equation was 27 x 8 = ? So I worked it out. It shows my buddies idea's as well as mine. My buddy was Latu. She worked it out by doing 27 timetables.

My favourite animal is a tiger it has black and orange fur.

My tiger is big with small cubs which are medium.

She is furry, fluffy with a small pink nose and pointy ears.

She is one big tiger!

We have been learning to write word problems and show our strategies to solve them. Here is my presentation showing a word problem I wrote, how I worked it out and how my partner solved it.

Pasion for Fashion

WALT: Understand new vocabulary from the article and use new vocab in a sentence.

Portfolio means: I have a lot of PORTFOLIO on my device and there are heaps on it.

Antique means: I have ANTIQUE furnitures at home and my mum brought it from the warehouse.
